In the ‘Sustainable entrepreneurship’ program, we work towards responsible entrepreneurship and sustainable business development in the agri-food sector, in business and throughout the chain. In other words: a more sustainable way of producing food, in which we focus on the environment and society’s needs within the context of technical and strategic innovation. Attention is given to animal welfare, data-driven operation, profitability and the closing of life cycles in different ways at different levels.
in the ‘Sustainable entrepreneurship’ research program, we carry out research to initiate innovations that make the agri-food and horticultural sectors sustainable. This research takes place in the form of professorship assignments, practical and graduation research projects and internships.
To ensure that this research is embedded in education, we have implemented periodic meetings for all three of the research areas, in which research teams and educational teams can meet each other and discuss their findings.
