Five top rated programmes at Aeres University of Applied Sciences

We are pleased to see that the agricultural studies of our faculty in Dronten are doing very well. The Bachelor's programs in Horticulture and Livestock and the Associate degrees in Agrifoodbusiness and Livestock were awarded with a Top Rated Programme 2023 mark. These are the figures presented today by Keuzegids hbo 2023.

This 'Keuzegids hbo 2023' is an independent guide for pupils looking for a study in which they can compare hbo-programs with each other. The guide is compiled based on the results of the National Student Survey, in which some 300,000 current students give their opinions about their studies

There are many social developments and transitions that are succeeding each other at an increasingly rapid pace. The switch to other forms of using our nature and living spaces, the changes in the food system and the effects of climatic changes on our well-being are examples of developments. How should our students prepare for their role in these profound changes? That is a fine task of Aeres University of Applied Sciences, which with teachers, researchers and with the field trains students to take their role in this changing world. Every year, Aeres University of Applied Sciences welcomes a large group of (international) students who choose a future-oriented green study or professional teacher training program. The students following our studies are satisfied with their education, according to the figures of the Keuzegids hbo 2023.

The Bachelor and Associate degree programs in Livestock Production score well in the ranking. Students value not only the content and teachers, but also the preparation for their careers and the atmosphere. The Bachelor program Horticulture also scores well on subject content, teachers and atmosphere. For the fourth year in a row, the program received the designation top program. The Associate degree in Agrifoodbusiness is also highly appreciated, especially about the atmosphere.
