Logging in with multi-factor authentication

For maximum security of our computer systems, Aeres University of Applied Sciences uses multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Multi-factor authentication, as the name suggests, uses multiple factors to ensure that only authorized users are granted access to Office365 programs (such as Teams, Outlook, OneDrive and Sharepoint) and and Kiem (intranet). Multi-factor authentication (MFA) applies to all devices you use to log in to your Aeres account, at locations outside of Aeres University of Applied Sciences (e.g. at home).

Set up your MFA

We recommend setting it up on your smartphone, which is the safest and most user-friendly method. To do this, you need to use the Microsoft Authenticator app. Don't have a smartphone? Then there is an alternative method available via text message or your own e-mail.

You can see how to set up MFA on your smartphone in the instruction video 'MFA with smartphone'.

Set up MFA via SMS or email
