  • This two-year programme centres around the professional practice of equine business managament. Because of our close collaboration with the business community, you will carry out assignments in real-life business environments and do internships with organizations or businesses in the international equine sector. You will also work together with and learning from fellow students from all over the world. So, feel free to enroll, even if you do not have a horse of your own. We recommend that you have some prior experience in the equine sector.

    Business plan

    During the programme, you will draw up an advisory policy report on a current topic in the international equine sector, learn how to set up a strategy and business plan, develop your own view of the international equine industry and practice analyzing business reports.

    Broad Education

    You will receive a broad education, as the subjects in this programme are 70% business management related and 30% horse-related. The programme provides you with first-hand knowledge of the advanced practices in the Netherlands, a leading equine and equestrian country, and valuable insight into the contrasts in business cultures and work ethics in countries around the world.

    • Completion of BTS, DUT, HND or Licence 2 or at least two years of a university programme in a related subject relevant to the study programme (in accordance with 120 ECTS).       
    • A minimum score of 550 in the TOEFL English test or a formally recognized equivalent, such as the IELTS (level 6.0) or IBT (79).
    • The ability to formulate coherently in written English, and to have a vision of international equine business management. Essay writing is part of the admission procedure.
    • Strong motivation for success in the sector.
    • Team spirit a flexible attitude in an international working environment.
