In 2022, after studying Animal Science at Utrecht University, Kyra Maarleveld began working as a teacher researcher at Aeres University of Applied Sciences for the Cattle Health Management professorship. This professorship mainly researches the health and welfare of calves and cows and the translation of applicable research findings for cattle farmers, students and other stakeholders. Kyra is especially interested in One Health, veterinary public health and emerging zoonotic diseases.
