Connecting people and organizations in a multicultural and international society: it’s not complicated, but it does not happen naturally. In this course you learn to look at yourself and your own culture. From there you can learn to understand other people and organizations from their culture in order to achieve a successful cooperation. 

Why this minor?

Anyone who is dealing with multicultural contacts in the Netherlands or international contacts with foreign partners can benefit from the insights and skills as a result of this training.

We also offer this course in-company for companies and teachers (from vocational education and universities of applied sciences). Content and duration can be determined in consultation.

Course content

The training is a combination of getting acquainted with cultural models (such as the dimensions of Hofstede, but also others), a personal cultural scan and cases, whether or not brought in by the participants themselves. The cases are all group work, the presentations are interactive.
