"Studying at Aeres University of Applied Sciences Dronten has really been an opportunity for me to improve my knowledge of both plant production and English, and to deepen my connection with my Dutch roots. Indeed, living on a campus provides extra value, in that you meet students from all over the world and other cultures, and create your own international professional network for life. Teachers are always there for you and a lot of visits are planned to discover typically Dutch horticultural high-tech systems. At the beginning of the semester, I really enjoyed the fact that they asked us what we wanted to learn specifically. I really appreciated ‘getting out of the French educational system’ during this semester, which I think is the way France should follow.
This is an experience you should have at least once in your life. I wouldn’t hesitate to take this course if I were you! This has been more than an experience abroad. It’s a part of my life that I won’t forget and that has made me stronger, more self-confident and more passionate about growing vegetables.”
