Lukas Müller, student International Food Business
“I am a German student who grew up in Hong Kong, Poland, Malaysia and now in The Netherlands. When applying for university, I was looking for an International Business programme in the Netherlands. I found many, but I was particularly interested in and intrigued by the International Food Business programme. I have developed a keen interest in the international food sector, particularly the food safety part. The ‘from farm to fork’ process can be a demanding one, especially when taking into account the different cultures and their ideas on health, cleanliness and food safety. The added value here is that you gain better and more specific knowledge of the food industry, essential for a more focused understanding. The food sector is continuously growing and involves many other major industries, such as the hospitality industry. It therefore provides many job opportunities for graduates.”
